text: Feb. 5. [154] Bohemond [III], son of Prince Raymond, dei gracia princeps Antiochie, gives under seal to his liegeman [homo ligius] Ioscelinus, the son of Ioscelinus Edessanus comes, and his legitimate heirs in feodo the cavea and abbacia called Granacherie and casale cavee Livonie, Baqfala and Gaigum, and as much of the land of Guillelmus de Croisi that the prince holds, that is to say Sefferie, Bequoqua, Vaquer and Cefra. Bohemond also gives 3000 besants in assisia, to be drawn each year from three of his towns; and the free use of a boat [gripus] on the Lake of Antioch [in laccu]; and 3000 listrae of wine at Sanctus Symeon. The gifts are made on condition that Ioscelinus will provide personal military service with 4 other milites [ipse se quintus militum mihi debet servire], although he may draw on the service of 3 fief-holding knights [milites feodati] from the princely domain, if they wish to serve with him. If Ioscelinus or his heirs recover his land [the county of Edessa] the present gifts will be returned to the prince.
