text: Apr. 1-30. In the presence of King John of Jerusalem and his curia, Iniorannus dominus Bove sells under seal to the Hospital of St Mary of the Germans, represented by frater Hermannus magister domus sancte Marie Teutonicorum Ierusalem, a house in Tyre and its dependencies for 1000 Saracen besants of Acre weight, which has already been paid. The brothers can do whatever they wish with the house, although they may not dispose of it to churchmen or religious communities. The house is bordered on the east by the sea, which washes at the house’s foot. On the west it extends as far as the street [vicus] that leads to the tannery [la taneria]. On the south it is next to a house belonging to the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, which once belonged to Sancha Martin, and on the north it extends as far as the house of Eustacius Buseka and his brothers. Witnesses: Balianus dominus Sydonis; Oddo de Montebliard regni constabularius; Garnerus Alemannus; Roardus dominus Cayphe; Gauffridus de Cafran; Haymo Alamannus; Danyel de Malenbec.
