Willelmus Niger, Martinus de Mauro and Willelmus Lusius, the consuls of Genoa, grant Ugo Embriacus and his brother Nicolas everything Genoa possesses in Acre and its dependencies for 29 years in return for an annual rent of 1,000 soldi in Genoese denarii. Ugo and his brother have promised to pay Genoa 50 librae each year, except for the first 4 years, for which Genoa has accepted 100 librae, because of the needs of Ugo and Nicolas. If there is a failure to pay, the sum must made up in later instalments.
