text: Aug. 17. Acre. Amalric, per dei gratiam in sancta civitate Iherusalem Latinorum rex quintus, confirms under seal the sale to the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem by Arnulfus de Curbinhi of houses that are situated between the city wall of Acre and the sea for 1000 besants, from which Arnulfus has made an eleemosynary grant to the Hospital of 200 besants. Witnesses: Galterius princeps totius Galilee; Hugo de Cesarea; Gormundus de Tiberiade; Guillelmus marescalcus; Guido de Maneriis; Hubertus de Acohn; Petrus Nemausensis; Johannes Guido; Viuianus. The charter was drawn up by Radulfus episcopus Bethleem et regis cancellarius.
