text: *Oct. 4 1157 - end May 1159. King Baldwin III gives Jozelinus Pesellus and his heirs a fief-rent of 1,200 Saracen besants, to be taken from the cathena Acconensi in return for the servitium of 2 milites, and promises the first feodum in his kingdom owing 20 milites or, if Jozelinus and his heirs prefer, a smaller feodum that will come into his hands. On reception of that feodum the fief-rent of 1,200 besants will revert to the king. Baldwin promises a feodum of 100 milites in Egypt, when that land falls to him. He also gives a further fief-rent of 600 besants a year, to be taken in 4 instalments, from the funda Acconensi, in return for the service of 1 miles.
