text: Feb. 16. Lateran. The king of Cyprus has informed Pope Honorius III that after the death of his father Ph. de Ybelino had been appointed baiulus until he came of age or the queen married again. The queen has now moved to Syria and without the king’s knowledge has married Bo., the son of the count of Tripoli, illegally, because within the degrees of consanguinity. To prevent any damage to the kingdom, the king has been crowned. He wants Iohannes de Ybelino to be his baiulus. Writing to the barones, milites and populus of the kingdom of Cyprus, and to Ph. de Ybelino baiulus regni Cipri, Pope Honorius III orders them to assist the king of Cyprus and Iohannes de Ybelino, who has been constituted baiulus until the king comes of age.
