Lambertus gave a casale called Soesme, situated over the river [Jordan] which is popularly called the river of the Devil, with the consent of Goscelinus princeps Tyberiadis and Willelmus de Buris, who gave the casale to Lambertus. Barianus constabularius Ioppe gave lands and vineyards in the territory of Jerusalem. Wido de Miliaco made an eleemosynary gift on his behalf and that of his wife Helisabet of lands and vineyards in the territory of Jerusalem. Radulfus Aliensis gave land situated next to Mons Gaudii and a house with a garden in Jerusalem. King Baldwin I of Jerusalem gave 4 carruchae of arable land in the territory of Jaffa and an oven, a mill and houses, lands and vines at Beirut and 2 carruchae of land just outside [in suburbio] Acre. Eustachius Granerius gave a casale called Capharabra/Cafarabra in the territory of Sidon and a house in Sidon, and close to [in confinio] Caesarea a casale called Bethalla, and a house in Caesarea. Balduinus de Ramis gave 2 aratra of land in the territory of Rama. Rogerius de Roseht gave a villanus with all his possessions on Mons Betericus, with the agreement of the aforesaid Barianus. Goscelinus princeps Tyberiadis gave a casale called Cafrielme and 2 rustici with all their possessions in the territory of Tiberias. Ado de Cheresio, his wife Richoldis and his son Warmundus gave a casale called Lichorat/Lychorat. Rogerius Ramatensis episcopus gave a casale called Saphoria and a house in his castle [castrum], together with a mahumeria within the walls and outside 4 carruchae of arable land. Teobaldus/Theobaldus de Nigella gave a casale called Zebezeb/Zebezel. Tancred, prince [princeps] of Antioch gave a casale called Tymini, situated on the slopes of Mt Carmel, and in the castle of Haifa a platea in which a church has been built, and houses, an oven, a mill and lands and trees which are outside the castle. King Baldwin II’s confirmation had been agreed by Patriarch Warmund and the king’s barones during the council of Nablus. Baldwin per dei gratiam Hierosolimorum rex secundus makes an eleemosynary grant to the abbey of St Mary of the Valley of Jehoshaphat, giving a casale called Betori in the territory of Nablus. Anyone who dares to challenge this will be proceeded against in the king’s court [in curia mea] and will be fined 1000 besants. Witnesses: Hugo Blancus; Paganus cancellarius; Anscherius de Mosteriolo; Bernardus Vaccarius; Robertus de Meri; Willelmus de Sancto Bertino; Baronus Saggittarius; Karolus nepos Rainaldi Masoeri; and all the abbey’s convent.

Baldwin, dei gratia rex Hierusalem Latinorum secundus, makes a sealed eleemosynary grant, giving St Mary of the Valley of Jehoshaphat, Gelduinus abbas and his successors a casale called Bestella/Befella in the territory of Tyre. The king also gives another casale called Sardanas which is close to [ante] the city of Tyre, except for part of the land between the mountain and the king’s viridarium, which he retains for his own use. He orders Paganus his cancellarius to seal the charter with his lead seal.Witnesses: Milissenda filia regis et regni Ierosolimitani haeres; Hugo Ioppe dominus; Ansellus de Bria; Barianus Iope constabularius; Ioannes camerarius; Hulricus Neapolis vicecomes; Bernardus Vaccarius; Hemelinus vicecancellarius, who wrote the charter. The king adds a codicil stating that at the request of the abbot Gelduinus he has given the church of Mt Sion 2 carrucatae terrae in the casale of Sardanas.

At the request of Gelduinus abbas, his relation [consanguineus], Baldwin, dei gratia rex Ierusalem Latinorum secundus, confirms all that has been given to St Mary of the Valley of Jehoshaphat in the reigns of his predecessors and in his own reign. Duke (dux) Godfrey and his brother King Baldwin I gave an oven, mills, houses and gardens inside Jerusalem and lands and vineyards outside, the Pool of Siloam together with mills, a ditch [fossa] and gardens, and two parts of the casale of Bethsau. Comes Guarnerius gave a casale called Ascar and this was later confirmed by King Baldwin I, who gave 2 carrucatae of land in the territory of Jaffa. Tancred gave a casale called Tymini, situated on the side of Mt Carmel, and houses, an oven and lands within and outside the castle [castrum] of Haifa. King Baldwin I gave a house in Acre and a casale called Cassera in the mountains; at Sidon a viridarium, a machomeria outside the city and a casale called Cafarabra, with the agreement of Eustachius Granerius; at Beirut houses, an oven, a mill and a viridarium inside the city and 2 carrucatae of land outside. Eustachius Granerius gave a casale called Betalla in the territory of Caesarea and a house in the city of Caesarea, with the agreement of King Baldwin I. Pisellus vicecomes gave a casale called Meschium and lands by the road that leads to the River Jordan, and in the territory of Belcha across the river a casale called Bessura, with the agreement of King Baldwin I. Rogerius Rammensis episcopus gave a casale called Saphoria and within the castle [castrum] of Lydda [Sanctus Georgius] a house and 4 carrucatae of land, with the agreement of King Baldwin I. Ado de Cherisio, his wife Richildis and his son Warmundus gave a casale called Chorat in the mountains around Toron, with the agreement of King Baldwin I. Walterius Machumet gave a casale called Jamaruara, situated in the valley of Clin, with the agreement of King Baldwin I. Wilelmus de Buris gave 4 carrucatae of land and houses at Ligium, with the agreement of King Baldwin I. Wido de Miliaco gave half of a casale called Betemar in the territory of Jerusalem, with the agreement of King Baldwin I. King Baldwin I freed from census and navalis exactio all the ships [naves] of the abbey of St Mary which should enter or leave all the ports of the kingdom of Jerusalem. Letardus vicecomes gave 4 carrucatae of land and olive groves, together with a house in the casale of Hubertus de Pazi which is called Siph, and outside the casale a garden. Of the donations made in his own reign, King Baldwin II has given a casale called Beteri in the territory of Nablus and a house in Nablus; a casale called Beffella in the mountains in the territory of Tyre, another casale called Sardanas, and houses and a viridarium within Tyre. Lord Gozelinus gave a casale called Cafrielme in the territory of Tiberias with the agreement of King Baldwin II. Hugo dominus Iope gave a casale called Machoz in the territory of Ascalon and in Ascalon the greater machomeria and one of the better viridaria. Hugo also gave the land which had belonged to Framericus in the territory of Jaffa and a casale called Saphe in the land of Nablus, with the agreement of King Baldwin II. Barisanus the constabularius of Hugo gave a casale called Dargeboam in the lands near Jerusalem, with the agreement of Hugo his lord and King Baldwin II. Romanus de Podio, his wife Richildis and their heirs gave 2 casalia called Bessura and La, situated in terra Belcha. Wilelmus de Buris gave 2 casalia across the Sea of Galilee [ultra mare Tybiadis] called Sanctus Georgius and Sanctus Iob. The charter was drawn up by Hemelinus cancellarius.
