Acknowledging the furore caused by his decision to grant churches which had previously [Turcorum vel Sarracenorum temporibus] been subject to the patriarchate of Antioch and the protests of Patriarch Bernard, Pope Paschal II strictly enjoins Baldwin, illustris Hierosolymitanorum rex, to forbid any further incursions by the clergy of Jerusalem into the rights of the patriarchate of Antioch.
