text: Nov. 14. Acre. Baldwin, per dei gratiam in sancta civitate Ierusalem Latinorum rex sextus, makes a sealed eleemosynary grant, confirming for Rogerius Hospitalis magister and his brothers of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem the purchase they made from domnus Galterius de Cesarea of Galilea for 5000 besants, as a masked eleemosynary grant, freed from the performance of servitium. Galilea is bordered on the east by castellum Area, on the south by the casale domni Amalrici, by Aronia and by the dependencies of Coscia, on the west by the sea and by Daidonum, and on the north by casale sancte Anne and casale Templi as far as Daidonum. Witnesses: Monacus Cesariensis archiepiscopus; Gvido Ioppensis et Ascalonitanus comes; Ioscelinus regius senescalcus; Balduinus de Ybelino; Balianus frater eius; Aimericus regius constabularius; Petrus Costa; Carolus; Gazellus. The charter was drawn up by Gvillelmus Tyrensis archiepiscopus regisque cancellarius.
