text: Dec. 25 1115 – Dec. 24 1116. Pons, comes Tripolitanus, makes a sealed eleemosynary grant to St Mary of the Latins of Jerusalem, confirming the gift made by Raymond [of St Gilles] of a bafumaria near Tripoli. The terms are now modified. Pons is given usufruct of the bafumaria by Raimundus abbas of St Mary in return for an annual rent of 20 besants, which is payable in those years in which use is made of the bafumeria. Witnesses: Rogerius constabularius; P. de Podio Laurentii; Raimundus Pandulfi; Bertrandus vicecomes; Pons, comes; Johannes scriptor presbiter, who wrote the charter. Pons also gives 20 jarrae of oil from the villa which G. Faber had from him. Pons confirms the gift of 5 jarrae given by P. de Podio Laurentii from the villa called Dairas and the 3 jugera vel 3 pariliatae terrarum cannamelarum [of sugar cane plantations] close to the plain before Mont Pèlerin, given by the wife of G. Arvei.

The house, which was once called Darus, is bordered on one side by the house of Bertrandus de Rocca Maura, on another by the house of Pontius de Pipinea, on a third side by the platea and on the fourth by a vicus.
