In return for the concession the lord Bohemond [of Taranto] has made [Jul. 14], the boni homines of Genoa Anselmus Rusacherius, Lanfranchus Drubesei, Lambertus Magnus, Conradus filius Taionis, Bellacosa filius Adelardi, Otho Clericus and Lambertus Medicus swear on their behalf and on behalf of all other Genoese in the city of Antioch to hold and defend the city against all men except Count (Raymond) of St Gilles. If the count should decide to come to Antioch they will consider their position.
