On his deathbed Bernardus affirmed that he had made an eleemosynary grant to the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem of his fief [honor] in Olibana. Witnesses: Berengarius S. text: *1160 - 1162 [86] Agreement between Auger, master of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, and Materina, the wife of Raoul Troye, on an alms-gift made by her husband, who owed the Order 1800 besants, in return for which he had pledged houses in Acre and Jerusalem. Materina promises that should she remain a widow, she will leave 500 besants to the Hospital on her death. If she should marry again she will pay that sum 15 days after her wedding and will return the houses to the Order.

Muntando, left in her will on her death as an eleemosynary gift an annual rent of 10 besants to the poor of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, to be drawn from her inheritance. Johannes and Wilelma, who after [the death of] dominus Rostandus are Alemandina’s heirs, confirm this gift under seal.
