text: Dec. 25 1137 – Aug. 31 1138. Jerusalem. Rodericus Petri comes [of Traba], on a second pilgrimage to the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, makes an eleemosynary grant. He gives the Holy Sepulchre property in Galicia [Iberia], provided he can hold it for his lifetime, sending in recognition of this 2 silver marks a year to the Holy Sepulchre. His gift is confirmed and sealed by Patriarch William of Jerusalem. It is witnessed by his friends and compatriots: Arissa Varich de Ripa Migno; Johannes Aris de terra Sancti Martini Latronis; Rodericus, abbas, de terra de Pęna Reginę; Johannes Tirant germanus episcopi de Toy; Nunuranna de Limia; Helvitu Saniz de terra Sancti Jacobi; Petrus Hyspanensis frater Templi militum and many others.

text: Dec. 25 1142 – Aug. 31 1143. At the request of Patriarch William of Jerusalem, P[etrus] Dominici Sepulcri prior and the chapter of the Holy Sepulchre, Raymond, Dei gratia comes Tripolitanus, makes a sealed eleemosynary grant, stresssing the freedom from service that ensues. He confirms all possessions given to the Holy Sepulchre in his county by Count Raymond of St Gilles, Counts William Jordan, Bertrand and Pons, and all barones and others. He lists them as follows: the church of the Holy Sepulchre on Mont Pèlerin, with its houses and curia; an oven with houses attached to it where the canons can cook whatever they need, given by Cecilia comitissa; houses on Mont Pèlerin and in Tripoli on the slopes of the mountain on either side of the old road, from the wall to the aqueduct; a garden; freedom to import and export whatever the canons need through the port of Tripoli without the payment of dues; free transit through the gates of Tripoli and throughout the county; the church of Sanctus Georgius in Montanis with its casalia, if it can be proved that Count Raymond of St Gilles gave the canons this church; the casale of Bivola with its villani and an olive grove, which Count William Jordan gave at the time of the dedication of the church of the Holy Sepulchre on Mont Pèlerin; 3 casalia called Abdin, Bebula and Benehara in the mountains with their villani, which Count Bertrand gave; the casale of Medera, on the other side of the mountain, with its vill[an]i, given by W[illelmus] Ermengardus; a gastina called Loisan given by Raimundus de Raisac; the casale of Helniedel, with its villani, situated near Guibelacard, which was given by Ribod; the casale of Cafarsequel in the territory of Gibelet, which is also called Casale Pontis Sici, given by Stephanus de Brolo; 1 villanus with 1 carratata terre in the casale of Bocumbe, given by Raimundus de Narbona ; 1 villanus with 1 carrucata terre in the casale called Aer given by Bernardus Derat; 1 villanus with 1 carrucata terre in the casale of Derie and 10 jarrae of oil to be taken annually from the casale, given by Petrus de Podio Laurentii with the agreement of his wife; 1 villanus with 1 carrucata terre in the casale of Ardin given by Petrus nepos Rogerii constabularii; 1 villanus with 1 carrucata terre in the casale of Buissera given by Adalardus; 1 villanus with 1 carrucata terre in the casale of Sorbe given by Gaufridus de Pennis; an annual rent of 12 besants or 120 littrae of oil in the territory of Nephis given by Adalaxia and her son W[illelmus] Ebriacus, for the soul of her husband Ugo Ebriacus; 1 villanus with all belonging to him and the lands of another villanus given by W[illelmus] de Boschet. Galterius Cesareę dominus confirms under seal the gift made by his father Eustachius Granerius to Girardus prior and the Holy Sepulchre of half of the casale called Defiaisse and the land adjacent to it. Galterius records that as an eleemosynary act he has supervised the marking with crosses on stones of the boundaries between the lands of Defiaisse and neighbouring casalia, listed as those belonging to St Mary of the Valley of Jehoshaphat, the church of St Peter of Caesarea and the church of St John of Sebastea; other casalia called de la Forest and Sabarim; and a casale called Bufles that belongs to Galterius himself.
