[312] John, dei gratia Latinorum Hierusalem rex decimus et comes Brene, records under seal that the High Court [curia mea] was satisfied that Beatrix, daughter of the late comes Iocelinus, had been granted general administration of their properties by her husband comes Otho. At the request of Beatrix, he confirms under seal her eleemosynary grant, renouncing her claims against frater Garinus de Monte Acuto, magister of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, and his brothers over the casale called Manueth. Witnesses: Buamundus princeps Antiochie et comes Tripolis; Radulphus de Tiberiade regni Hierosolimitani senescalcus; Iacobus marescalcus; Gauterus de Cesarea; Odo Montebello; Gilo de Beritho; Gaufridus de Cafran; Roardus de Cayphas. The charter was drawn up by Iohannes de Vindopera notarius regis.
