He confirms their possessions and the donations made to them: half of all oblations offered to the Holy Sepulchre or the relic of the True Cross; the tithes of the city of Jerusalem and the places nearby, except for the tithes of the funda and the half of a benefice handed by the king to the church of Bethlehem; indeed whatever the late Patriarch Arnulf himself confirmed. The pope also confirms the grants Patriarch Arnulf made of the church of St Peter in Jaffa and the church of Sanctus Lazarus [in Bethany].

Baldwin per dei gratiam rex Iherusalem Latinorum secundus makes a sealed eleemosynary grant, confirming for the church and canons of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem their possession of a casale called Derina, situated near Tyre [in terminis Tyri] close to the great spring [fons] that feeds the aqueduct. The territory of the casale, situated on the hillside, comprises 4 carrucates [tantum terrᶒ, quantum quatuor paria boum poterunt excolere de anno ad annum]. Baldwin excludes from the confirmation another unnamed casale, on which he recognizes the Holy Sepulchre has claims, and a garden [ortus] situated between the sea wall and sea forewall of the city.
