Pope Urban III orders Hugo, the son of Hugo de Gibelleto to swear the oath of fealty to the church and city of Genoa, which his grandfather was known to have sworn for Gibelletum, and to pay the annual census, which his grandfather paid. He has ordered the patriarchs of Jerusalem and Antioch, the bishops of Gibelletum [Bibliensis] and Tripoli to enforce this.

Oto Iudex de Castello swears on oath that he will hold the ruga de Sancto Laurentio in Acre according to the usus et consuetudo terre on behalf of the city of Genoa and at the orders of Willelmus Embriacus maior and Willelmus Embriacus iunior for 2 years from the next Easter. He will send all rents and money to Willelmus or his representatives. He will travel on the business of the ruga to Antioch, Tripoli, Gibelletum or other places. He will accept nothing in relation to the vicecomitia except on the mandate of Willelmus Embriacus maior, who with his relation Willelmus Embriacus minor confirms Oto in the tenure of the ruga Sancti Laurentii and all revenues from overseas and allows Oto to subtract his expenses from his returns. Oto may also keep 150 librae in Syrian besants [bisancii Sulie] each year, together with provisions that may be offered to him.
