Patriarch Peter of Antioch and his cathedral chapter record under the patriarchal seal that they have received from frater Garssio Asmaldi thesaurarius Hospitalis in Antiochia, frater Petrus Galeis, frater Pascalis and frater Thomas, of the commandery [domus] of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem in Antioch, church vessels, furniture and vestments, which the patriarch’s predecessor P. had deposited in the commandery. They are inventorized as follows: 1 gold cross, decorated with pearls and other precious stones; 1 great gold chalice, decorated with pearls and precious stones; 2 great golden gospel books [texta], decorated with pearls and precious stones; liturgical gloves [cyrothecae] with golden lunettes [lunae], decorated with pearls; iron matrices [cunei] for making seals; 7 knives [cultelli] with ivory handles. They also received from the commandery 3 coffers [coffri] 2 white and 1 red, which contained: 3 chasubles [planeta/casula] 1 being red, 1 of samite [casula de samito Narengi] and 1 a casula doxi; 5 casulae dalmaticae, 1 being of white samite; 5 pluvials, 1 off-white, 1, a great one, worked in gold, 1 red, 1 of samite and another of white samite; 4 dalmatics, 3 being red and 1 of green samite; 5 tunicles, 1 being red, 1 crocea, 1 of gilded imperial cloth, 1 of white silk cloth [sendatum] and 1 of black silk [amitum]; 1 red parament [decorated robe/paramentum], together with stole and maniple, white and gilded; 1 altar frontal [paramentum altaris]; 2 stoles and maniples, 1 set being red and the other de carcubin; 5 stoles, 1 to wear ad confirmandum; 3 maniples, 1 of precious cloth [de diaspre], 2 others red; 2 albs, 1 worked the other not; 4 cingula [cingula/zonae], 2 white and 2 red; 4 amices, 1 of which is worked; 2 pairs of sandals; 3 mitres, 1 with gold, the others with olfrizium; 2 gold rings with topaz stones; 2 ivory liturgical combs [pecten]; 2 girandoles [candelabra/giraudellus]; 1 gilded silver chalice; 1 silver thurible [turribalum]; 1 silver vase ad confirmandum; 4 altar cloths [mapae]; 1 being white and another worked for the altar [altaris perata]; 1 corporale cum custodita de carcubin; 1 silver icon; 1 staff [massa] ad serviendum; 1 missal; 1 gospel book; 1 book of the epistles with silvered tables [tabulis]; 3 gold pinulae; 4 curtains [custodes].
