At the request of Iohannes Gothmannus and of his son Ancherius and out of fraternal love for the canons of the Holy Sepulchre, Baldwin, per gratiam dei in sancta Iherusalem Latinorum rex quartus, confirms under seal the sale to the canons of the Holy Sepulchre of the casalia of Bathaatep/Bethahatap, Derhassen, Derxerip, Culi and Uastinam Leonis for 1400 besants by Iohannes Gothmannus, with the agreement of his wife Amandala, his son Ancherius, Stephania the wife of Ancherius, and Helisabeth, the daughter of Iohannes and wife of Hugo dominus Cesariensis. The Holy Sepulchre will hold the casalia free of all servicium and dominium. Witnesses: Amalricus comes Ascalonitanus; Humfredus de Torono constabularius; Philippus Neapolitanus; Hugo de Ybelino; Hugo Cesariensis; Balduinus de Insula; Galterius de Sancto Audemaro castellanus et Tyberiadensis domnus; Guormundus Tyberiadensis; Clarembaldus vicecomes Acconensis; Guillelmus de Hursa; Guido de Maneriis. Moved by the urgent necessity of providing for his redemption from captivity by the pagani, Johannes Gothmannus, with the consent of his wife Amandala, his son Ancherius, who has assisted in the matter, Stephania the wife of Ancherius, Helisabeth, the daughter of Iohannes and the wife of Hugo dominus Cesariensis, sells the casalia of Bethaatap, Derhassen, Derxerip, Culi and Vastinam Leonis to the canons of the Holy Sepulchre, free from all servitium, exactio and dominium, for 1400 besants. King Baldwin III, from whom the feodum is held, has assented to this and has sealed his confirmation of it. text: Dec. 25 1143 - Feb. 10 1163. With the agreement of the king [Baldwin III] and his heirs and relations, Morage Raiz, forced by the need to meet debts to the king, sells the canons of the Holy Sepulchre part [pars] of his house, in which he used to have a mill [molendinum], for 120 besants and 12 modii of grain. The canons bought the house to add to their stationes next door, which they had acquired in an exchange with the Hospital of St John. They will have the right to make improvements, by inserting pillars and vaultings and by closing up doors, windows and water pipes.

Miletus Sancti Sabe abbas and his monks sell the 3 vastine of Kafarrus, Vetus Betor and Deirfres with their villani, which the late Queen Melisende granted as an eleemosynary gift to provide the funds to buy 24 loaves of alms-bread, to Nicholaus prior and the Latin canons of the Holy Sepulchre for 480 besants. The great laura of St Sabas immediately uses the besants to buy the casale of Thora from King Amalric.
